TRY MY AIRBNB EXPERIENCES
Since Airbnb experiences started in Sao Paulo, I've been on with my deep walk in the city center. Today after many many walks I'm the community leader for the Airbnb Experiences in Sao Paulo and a best seller for my 5 stars experience offered in English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish!
Since tourism exists, we have seen a progressive democratization of the possibility of traveling and ways of traveling and forms of hospitality have become always cheaper and more creative. This is fantastic!
Traveling should always be within everyone's reach because it allows us to get out of our narrow point of view to embrace ever newer points of view.
Traveling intelligently can be one of the best treatments of this century for phenomena like intolerance and misunderstanding of what is different from us.
However, the ever more accessibility also generated phenomenas such as "over-tourism" .
More and more paradisiacal places, uncontaminated areas of the planet, communities and fragile ecosystems, are punctually destroyed by the arrival of masses of tourists. Places like Venice, Magaluf, Bali are in different ways not accessible anymore from the original communities.
I do not believe that the responsibility is totally of those who visit but we believe instead that a set of causes such as the mismanagement by the residents together with the lack of respect of some tourists generate the disasters that we all know.
I believe then while analyzing the causes and identifying the responsibilities of this "over-tourism", our daily action can be decisive in the solution of this emergency.
I believe that by walking and promoting the use of public transport we can greatly reduce the impact of our tourism activities on the site.
Not only that, we also believe that through the dissemination of good citizenship and education practices we can improve the quality of the experience, both of the tourist who visits and of the citizen who hosts.
It is necessary to remember that every time we visit a place it is like we were entering the house of someone doesn't know who we are and is welcoming us anyway.
Again, is necessary to keep in mind that everything we do generates environmental impact. Walking we strongly reduce this impact keeping us fit!
Walking with Concrete Jungles Walking Tours you'll have a pleasant and respectful experience, in a small group of maximum 10 people, having more than a tour, you'll have a very interesting conversation creating a positive impact on the local culture and the city!
