THE SAO PAULO CULTURAL WALK IS SPECIAL!
Pinacoteca and Sacred Art, parks, immigration and traditional music.
The Bom Retiro, once considered a "good place for having a rest" and a rural area just few steps outside the center, was strongly changing when the São Paulo Railway Company decided to open here the amazing Luz Station...
WHAT THIS WALK IS ABOUT
We'll visit the area of Bom Retiro, once the entry gate of all the immigrants that were arriving here by train from Santos.
That's why the Bom Retiro area has been always hosting plenty of different communities.
Once the favorite place of Jewish, Levantine Arabs, Italians and Greeks, today is hosting also the biggest Korean community of São Paulo and the Bolivian one.
SPECIAL TIP!
On Saturdays the Pinacoteca and the Sacred Art Museum are free so we believe is a good chance for you to visit it!
