A "new" and free amazing viewpoint in Sao Paulo. Edificio Martinelli is open again to visi

Since few weeks the Martinelli Building is open again for the visit at its terrace. Visits are free and happen everyday and the view is just amazing!

Started in 1922 the construction of the Martinelli building (Edificio Martinelli) continued until 1934. Work ended when the building was 30 stories tall. The building was conceived by the Italian Giuseppe Martinelli and designed by the Hungarian architect Vilmos (William) Fillinger.

With 105 meters high, it was between 1934 and 1947 the largest skyscraper in the country and, for a time, the highest in Latin America. It generated great controversy, because until that moment, there was no other building in São Paulo with high altitude.

After almost 2 years closed it is possible again visit the terrace of the Martinelli Building, for free, everyday.

There is a group limit of 15 people, reason why I recommend you to get there at least 30 minutes before the time scheduled to get the change to find available spots.

The schedule for the visit is from Monday to Sunday 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m. , 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m, 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m.

Location:

Rua São Bento, 405 - Center, São Paulo - SP, 01011-100

The building is located in the historical center of Sao Paulo ;)
